Seller Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Jokarz. By registering as a seller and listing your products on the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Eligibility and Registration

  • The Seller declares that they are a legally registered business entity (Establishment or Company) holding a valid Commercial Registration (CR) or a Freelance Document authorized to conduct commercial activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • The Seller must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration, including contact details, Tax Identification Number (TIN/VAT), and physical business address.

2. Fees and Commissions

  • The following commission rates apply:
    • 2% for General Categories.
    • 1% for Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
  • Jokarz reserves the right to update the fee structure, provided that Sellers are notified at least 30 days prior to the effective date.

3. Product Listing and Intellectual Property

  • The Seller guarantees that they are the legal owner of the listed products or hold official distribution and agency permits.
  • It is strictly prohibited to use trademarks, brand names, or images for which the Seller does not hold the legal rights.
  • The Seller is responsible for providing accurate descriptions and correct B2B pricing.

4. Shipping and Logistics

  • The Seller is committed to processing and shipping orders within the timeframe specified in the Shipping Policy (or as agreed upon with the buyer).

5. Taxes and Legal Compliance

  • The Seller bears full responsibility for collecting and remitting Value Added Tax (VAT) and any other government taxes to the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).
  • Sellers must issue official electronic invoices to buyers in compliance with the applicable regulations in Saudi Arabia.

6. Prohibited Items and Fraudulent Activity

  • Listing items that violate Islamic Sharia or Saudi laws (e.g., weapons, narcotics, counterfeit, or stolen goods) is strictly prohibited.
  • Any attempt to manipulate prices, mislead buyers, or bypass the platform to complete transactions externally will result in immediate account termination.

7. Dispute Resolution and Returns

  • The Seller is primarily responsible for handling return or exchange requests in accordance with the Saudi E-Commerce Law.
  • In the event of a dispute, Jokarz acts solely as a coordinator, and its decision in mediation shall be final.

8. Data Privacy

  • The Seller agrees to maintain the confidentiality of buyer data and shall not use it for marketing purposes outside the platform without explicit consent.

9. Amendments and Termination

  • Jokarz reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes an implicit agreement to the revised terms.
  • Jokarz reserves the right to remove product listings or suspend seller accounts found in violation of these terms.
